Workflows and Tools

TeselaGen assists you in automating processes with iterative steps to update your Lab Inventory Management System automatically with the input reagents or materials used and by adding the outputs of those reactions on existing samples or even creating new plates or tubes with your new output materials. This is carried out through workflow definitions, where you describe the steps followed in your protocol as a series of tasks to accomplish, which we call Tools. You can find all tools under the Tool library in the left side panel.

Create Reagent List Tool

The Create Reagent List tool takes in a list of reagents and outputs a data table with the reagent ID and name. This will be useful for updating a reaction map with reagents.

How to use the tool?

After launching the tool from the library or as a part of a workflow, click on the "Select Reagents" button to start the process:

This will open the select reagents dialog box. From there, choose the reagents for your experimental needs and click "Select Reagents".

Now, your reagents are selected. The last step is to choose a name for your table and click on Submit:

You have successfully created your Reagent Table! Now, you can continue with the next step in your workflow or use one of the suggested tools from the confirmation window.

Where can I find my Reagent Tables?

To see the table you just created, click on "Reagent Table Created" from the confirmation window to open it. From there, you can update it or export it as a csv file.

To see the complete record of tables created, go to the Data Tables library found under the Workflow Management Toolkit.
