Inventory Organization
TeselaGen’s Lab Inventory Management System integrates your physical materials (samples and aliquots) with locations and organization inside them.
Locations
Your available locations are found on the Freezer and Equipment Management Toolkit on the left side panel. To see them, go to the "Locations" menu.
Double-clicking on a Location will display a pop-up window to edit it:
Adding a New Location
Click on the "New Location" button and fill in the required information to create a new location.
On the pop-up window, you will be asked to indicate the name, location type (building, floor, room, wing, or lab), site, and parent location (which will show other locations in case you are using a hierarchy with them). Notice that the "site" options can be edited by admin users (check the explanation in this article).
Editing Sites and Locations
On the pop-up window shown to edit a location, you can click on "Site Settings" under the "Site" option to edit them. This will take you to the Settings window.
This is only editable by admin users.
This same procedure can be followed with sites:
