This tool allows users to upload a plate CSV from different vendors to create and register them.

Input: CSV Files

Output: Registered Plates in Inventory

Prerequisite: Plate CSV files from a vendor (Twist, IDT, etc.)

The ‘Plate Registration (CSV)’ tool is under Tools > Tool Library. Click ‘Launch Tool’ to start using the tool.

If you want to upload multiple Plates simultaneously, click “Add Upload.”

Choose the Vendor for the plate format you want to upload, select a plate type, and upload your plate file. At this step, you can also add tags to the plates.

If you would like to upload multiple Plates at the same time, click “Add Upload”.

(There will be more or fewer options to fill depending on the Vendor you choose)

Once you have selected what you want, click Submit. If you already have a plate with the same name, you'll be notified and asked to create a duplicate plate to import.

After selecting the duplicate plate, click "Submit" to register the new plate.

Click on the "Output Plates Created: 1" link to open your new registered plate in a new tab.
