Workflows and Tools

TeselaGen assists you in automating processes with iterative steps to update your Lab Inventory Management System automatically with the input reagents or materials used and by adding the outputs of those reactions to existing samples, or even creating new plates or tubes with your new output materials. This is carried out through workflow definitions, where you describe the steps followed in your protocol as a series of tasks to accomplish, which we call Tools. You can find them under the Tools library in the left side panel.

DNA Sequencing Quality Control Tool

This tool allows users to generate a sequencing quality-control report by aligning sequencing data against reference sequences, computing coverage, and identifying variants in sequenced samples.

Input: Sequencing data (FASTQ files)

Output: A set of quality-control reports, each corresponding to a sequenced sample.

How to QA

  • Open the plate record view

(pay attention to the aliquot ID)

copy and paste each one on the file name EDIT ONLY CONSTRUCT 2

  • Open the CSV file. Edit the aliquot ID for Construct 3. Save the CSV.

  • Tools > DNA Sequencing Quality Control > upload the files

    LAUNCH

On the DNA Sequencing Quality Control Reports Library

CLICK

  • The sequencing QC reports should be generated. Columns reporting num of SNPs and num of INDELs should be displayed in the seq QC library to further minimize the number of reports that a user may need to go into to inspect.

  • 'Export VCF File' should be available as a context menu option in the seq QC library for bulk export
